This ceramic filter has been tested for fit and form and is compatible with PortaWell. The filter has excellent build quality, and operates at a flow rate and pressure drop comparable to the AquaCera and Doulton ceramic filters. The manufacturer is the major ceramic filter fabricator and supplier in China (1.3 billion people) and although it has not been certified to meet U.S. NSF standards it is an excellent choice to use in the PortaWell Plus Kit as a cleanable prefilter when placed before the 0.2 micron NSF certified NanoCeram filter.
